It's Unreal Engine 5 project, which I try the new features, and It would be a some kind of whole project that can be shown.

In the new coming UE5, the most exciting feature could be Lumen, which is the new light system that provides the real-time globe illumination even without ray tracing hardware(GPU). In other words, graphic/video quality is close to real life, and could apply to video game in real-time.

Progress

During this UE5 project and the blog, I would record the main steps of my work progress.

1. Quick Lighting Test

The scene is amazing at the time of twilight! Although there are some glitches which I will tweak later.

I build a small area of desert before which is used to check exterior lighting, And reuse a part of room model which is created in blender before to check interior light.

Those aren't finished objects, just give me a glimpse of light condition, a quick overview.
